Who we are
Kibbo (getkibbo.com) is an independent consumer protection platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use it, and your rights over it.
What we collect
Email address
If you unlock a generator, sign up for updates, or otherwise provide your email, we collect it and add it to our mailing list, managed through Mailchimp. We use it to: send you a one-time welcome message (sent via Resend, our transactional email provider), and, if you don't unsubscribe, occasional updates about new tools and content. We don't collect your name, address, or any other personal detail unless you choose to provide it separately (for example, in a reply to an email).
Usage data
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors use the site — pages viewed, general location (country/region level), device type, and navigation patterns. This helps us understand what's useful and what isn't. Google's privacy policy governs their processing of this data: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of this via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or through your browser settings — see our Cookie Policy for details.
Content you submit to analyzers
If you use an analyzer tool (for example, pasting in a contract or policy document for review), that content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate an analysis. We don't store the documents you submit beyond what's needed to return your result, and we don't use your submitted content to train any AI model.
Purchase information
If you buy a template or a paid analyzer, that transaction is processed entirely by Gumroad, a third-party platform — we don't receive or store your payment card details. Gumroad's own privacy policy governs that part of the transaction.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal data to third parties. We don't run advertising, so we don't share your data with ad networks. We don't use your data for anything beyond what's described on this page.
Who we share data with
- Mailchimp — stores your email address if you're on our mailing list.
- Resend — used to send the one-time welcome email when you unlock a generator.
- Google Analytics — processes anonymized usage data, as described above.
- Anthropic — processes content you submit to analyzers or generators, to produce your result.
- Gumroad — processes payment and purchase information for paid products.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- Unsubscribing from our mailing list: use the link in any email we send, or email us directly.
- Requesting your data, or its deletion: email hello@getkibbo.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.
- UK/EU visitors: you have rights under UK GDPR / EU GDPR as described above, and can lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk) if you believe we haven't handled your data properly.
- US visitors: depending on your state, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (such as the CCPA in California). Contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate applicable requests regardless of where you're located.
Data retention
We keep your email address on our mailing list until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Anonymized analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings. We don't retain analyzer submission content beyond what's needed to generate your result.
Children's privacy
Kibbo isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools and services change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
