Common questions
Does POSTRS cover every courier, not just Royal Mail?
No. In the UK, POSTRS (the Postal Redress Service) only covers Royal Mail. For any other courier, use that courier's own escalation route, or a card/payment dispute if you paid by card.
Who is responsible when a parcel is marked delivered but I never got it?
This depends on your country's rules and, in the US specifically, on the shipping terms the seller agreed to — we show the exact legal basis for your country where one is verified, and say plainly when it isn't, rather than guessing.
What order should I contact people in?
Seller first, then the carrier if the seller doesn't resolve it, then a card or payment dispute, then — only where one genuinely applies to your situation — the relevant ombudsman or regulator.
Is this legal advice?
No. This is general information built from official public sources, not legal advice, and nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere.
